It's been a while since my dad and I went on a trip together. Last Friday, since we were both on break and the weather was great (for December) we decided to go collecting. Our first stop was one I felt had been a little worn out (not much rain) but my dad wanted to stop there. After walking around for about half an hour, I decided to climb a bluff I thought looked "good". I quickly noticed a bit of bone protruding from the hillside. After some digging this is what I had revealed: The lower jaw of a platecarpus mosasaur.
