Information about Pteranodons
~The wing bones of the first Pteranodon found in North America was discovered in the Smoky Hill Chalk of western Kansas by O. C. Marsh in 1870.
~They were apparently "warm blooded" in some respects, and may have had a thin covering of hair on their bodies.
~They had hollow bones and were well adapted for flight.
